In response to some requests for a Vietnam /Platoon style Special Forces / UDT watch we have been able to offer this model. The Seiko VH movement has a 2 year battery life and ticks 4 times per second. So the sweep isn't as smooth as your typical modern mechanical movement (affordable Seiko mechanicals like the Seiko 5 and Cocktail Time usually tick 6 times per second). If you love vintage mechanical watches that tend to beat/tick at lower frequencies, you will love the sweep of the VH movement along with quartz accuracy.
